Sales Support & Service Specialist

This is an entry-level opportunity for a career leading to an eventual position as a Printing Project Manager. Applicant must have computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Publisher. Some college-level education is required, a degree is helpful. Sales experience is helpful. Must be a highly organized, creative, outgoing people-person with a desire to make customers happy.

Stages of training in this position are as follows:

• Training on printing forms, processes and procedures
• Training and familiarization with paper and printing substrates
• Training on FolgerGraphics policies, procedures and credit
• Training in print management programs and estimating
• Order entry procedure
• U.S. Mail rates and regulation

After successfully completing the training, the Sales Support and Service Specialist (SSSS) will begin assisting Printing Project Managers in the capacity of sales secretary and assistant. This will involve completing orders, looking up old files, checking and double-checking entries for accuracy.

After three months, the SSSS will receive full FolgerGraphics benefits, and if performance warrants, an increase in pay.

The successful SSSS will gradually be given personal accounts to service. These accounts will pay a commission payment. The SSSS will next be given leads or lists of potential printing clients from which to begin the development of their own client base, selling them our printing and mailing services. When the SSSS has developed a large-enough client base with commissions that could exceed the present pay, they will be invited to become full-time Printing Project Managers and enjoy the larger, full commission and other benefits.

Trainee starting rate: $15 per hour
