The day begins with a Grand Estate Tour & Tasting at
Chateau Julien Wine Estate. located on 16 acres at the
foot of the majestic Carmel Valley mountains. Your tour
will include the underground barrel room, with a barrel
sampling. You will taste six of their Private Reserve wines
and conclude your tour with a generous platter of fruit,
cheese, crackers, nuts and candy. You will receive a
keepsake wine glass. Your hosted lunch will be at Anton
and Michel Restaurant. After lunch you will have free
time to shop or enjoy a sunny walk between old buildings
and under shaded trees.

The Millbrae Senior Center will be experiencing experiments
and Earthquakes! Excite your senses with a new , visually
stunning planetarium show that journeys through the San
Andreas fault, delves into the Earth’s core and explores the
seismic science of earthquakes throughout our world. The
Shake House is Back! Travel back in time to see, hear and
feel two earthquakes, the 6.9 Loma Prieta earthquake, and
the 7.9 1906 earthquake. Our hosted lunch will be at the
Beach Chalet which offers a breath-taking ocean view.

Thunder Valley Casino

Join us as we travel to Thunder Valley in Sacramento.
Play Bingo on the bus and win prizes. The bus leaves
from the large parking lot across from the library at
7:30 am. You pay $30 to go... and get $5.00 machine
or table play and a $5.00 coupon to spend in one of
their 8 restaurants.

Nestled in the Hills of Petaluma, Garden Valley Ranch is a
working ranch and home to thousands of rosebushes ( in
bloom mid-May through October). Our docent-led tour in-
cludes the fields of rosebushes, a garden devoted to fra-
grance, and one of the 22 official test gardens. Our hosted
lunch will be at Cucina Paradiso. After lunch we will take
a short drive to the Seed Bank for browsing and shop-
ping. Before heading home, we will travel to the Lavendar
Bee Farm in Petaluma for a docent-led tour. Afterwards we
will enjoy samples of honey, lavender tea and lemonade.

Join us as we make our way to Willie Bird’s Restaurant owned
by the Benedetti family who began raising turkeys in Sonoma
County in 1948. Lunch today is your choice of: The Willie Bird
Special, Liver N’ Onions or Fish & Chips. Next we will travel to
the Canine Companion for Independence National Headquar-
ters where we will tour this amazing program. This non-profit
organization enhances the lives of people with disabilities by
providing highly trained dogs and ongoing support to ensure
quality partnerships.

Join us for a Sonoma County Sojourn to the Sebas-
topol area. Our first stop will be the historic Russian
River Vineyards where we will be treated to a tour of
the winery and then an enjoyable visit to the tasting
room. Our hosted lunch will be at the French Gar-
den Restaurant in Sebastopol. After lunch we will
have a guided tour of Luther Burbank’s Gold Ridge
Experiment Farm, the official name of the 3 acres
that remain of the farm originally purchased in 1885
by Luther Burbank. Burbank’s widow donated the
remaining 15 acres to the Sebastopol Area Hous-
ing Corporation but made them promise not to dis-
turb the 3 acres containing the “Caretaker’s Cottage”.
