Super Hero Filmmaking Flix
Ages 7-13Y

What super hero power do you want? Flying? Invisability? Su-
per karate skills? Shot in front of a green screen, in this action
packed movie camp, kids will get to act, write, and direct in their
own super hero adventure movie.
$30 Production Fee is payable
to the instructor on the first day of class.

Lego Flix
Ages 7-13Y

We know you love legos and we know you can create incredible
worlds. Now it’s time to bring those worlds to life in Lego animated
flix! We provide the legos, and you provide your imagination. Stu-
dents will create a Lego set with Lego characters for a movie they
storyboard, write shoot, and voice-over in age appropriate groups.
$30 Production Fee is payable to the instructor on the first day of
class.

Animation Flix
Ages 7-13Y

In this high-energy camp, students will create a new movie each day for
a total of 5 animated flix! They’ll use different styles of stop-motion
animation for each movie, and we’ve added in some new animations this
year (ending the week with face painting animation). This is the ultimate
arts and crafts camp where campers create, direct and film in age appro-
priate groups.

Green Screen Animation Flix
Ages 7-13Y

Take your character underwater to a volcano, or even outer space. In
this camp, you’ve got no limits. In age appropriate groups, you’ll
brainstorm ideas, create your characters,film your movies with a green
screen backdrop, select your locations, and add voice-overs.

Chess Camp
Ages 4-14Y

Chess has proven to be an invaluable educational aide
and teaches children analytical skills that are applicable to
many other intellectual pursuits. Say Area Dhess program
offers a fun environment to develop mental skills for stu-
dents at all levels. A typical class consists of instruction
followed by a practice game. Students may be divided in
groups based on ability and experience so that each student
will receive instruction appropriate for his/her skill level.

Still Life Drawing Camp
with Young Rembrants

Still Lifes are the staple of every artist. In this workshop we will
learn to draw a wonderful variety of still lifes from pumpkins to
toys and even a collection of trophies. We will practice and fine
tune our color pencil skills. Highlights and shading will enhance
each drawing. Join us for five days of challenging lessons as we
refine our drawing skills.

Pirate Drawing Camp
with Young Rembrants

Ahoy mates! Join us as we explore the world of pirates with new drawing
adventures! Pirates, treasure maps, sunken treasures, parrots, a grand pi-
rate ship and more will inspire us as we draw, using cartoon and realistic
drawing techniques. Students will complete several drawings each day
using the uniqueYoung Rembrandts drawing method. All materials pro-
vided and include pencils, color pencils, sharpies and markers.
